Our volunteers are the key to our success. They are a very important group of people who give their time to support Little Yorkie Rescue. Without them we would not be able to do what we do. Each and every one of them play an important roll in the success of the rescue, from transporting, fostering and providing handmade goods for our monthly auctions to raise funding to keep us up and running. Without our team of volunteers, fosters, caretakers or our crafters and sewers there would be no LYR.

Little Yorkie Rescue LYR being a small home town, home based rescue is a huge undertaking but a very rewarding one in and of itself. We are always in need of volunteers who are willing and able to provide assistance in any means possible. From providing transportation to and from vet appointments to pick up and safe travel to foster homes. Also, providing a temporary home for an animal in need is a wonderful and heart warming experience. We are always in need of loving caring individuals to become foster families and to volunteer their time for those pups who are waiting for their fur ever homes.
